Akash
Akash is an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton with several years of experience in leading IT systems projects. He has a background in Finance & Accounting and Agile Project Management. He supported multiple organizations within the U.S. Navy and NASA to automate business processes through digital solutions. As part of the Space Apps Global Organizing team, Akash is bringing his experience in IT Systems and Project Management to continually innovate web platforms and improve business processes to provide a better user experience.
Alicia
Ali and Nick co-founded Space Apps for NASA on the back of a napkin in a taxi! They got approval, built out the concept, and led the project in 2012 and 2013. In addition to being a founder, Ali was community manager, then working at Valador. She has continued to advise and support the program in various ways since then, including in 2015 when she attended the first Dhaka event, and in 2022, when she coordinated the solicitation of the challenge statements via the NASA@Work platform.
